    CA cullet

in my best Dion impression... "Anybody here seen my old friend Tom. Can you tell me where he's gone"? :0)
  5. Steph, to me a CAC striped opaque (or translucent) w/wild colors = "Exotic". Some of Mr. McCormick's certaintly look constructed that way and with the wild colors? Voila! but no they are not CA "Exotics". There "Lucky Charms" and there magically different. Get it?
  6. Here is one I got from my old friend Tom (can you tell me where he's gone?) Reed. LOL j/k It's signed with a cool little gold shamrock. and yeah they do have that CAC look (If not for the mark) scary. Some VERY exotic. Get that site up...please? add: Brad, They are Nice.
  7. Buddy, ALL killer. Is he ever going to get his website done? Still under construction. Dying to see what will be inside. Carl, brand new booty (I mean beauties).

  12. I believe it was Roningeorgia (over @t Marble Mental) who had posted pictures of the early "classics" from the late 1980's. I will go back and check. It was awhile ago. In the R.Block's Marbles I.D. and Price Guide it's stated that Jabo, Inc. was orginized in 1987 by Jack Bogard, Dave McCullough & Joanne Argabrite.
  13. Jabo, Inc. was orginized in 1987 by Jack Bogard, Dave McCullough & Joanne Argabrite. They did make industrial marbles but Dave would make a couple of special (Classic) runs every year. Over on Marble Mental there were pics of these early (1980's) "Classics" posted awhile back.
  14. Cool. I did not know there was a first book. They show as early as 1991 the jabo classic runs? with pics look decent. I believe there are earlier runs. I think I was told mid to late 1980's? Jeannie, thanks for the pictures.
  15. <<it also has a bunch of pages showing JABO's and the years.>> Cool. What are the years they are showing? How far back do they go? Is it right up to the present?

    Pelts

Hi Kris, after you take your picture with your camera you then have to resize it. Most if not all cameras come with some kind of software to do this.

    Pelts

    Damn they are pretty.
  18. Sad. I don't know what to say. I never met Guy in person but I knew he was a good man and something special to the marble community. Like others here he was generous and always friendly to me. I always enjoyed reading his posts and of his knowledge of peltiers. Early on when I took a liking to pelts he sent me a very nice assortment. I too will miss Guy. God bless Denise and Family.

    Show Me Your Face

Bt sent me this picture. It belonged to our old friend, Paulie (may he rest in peace). I believe it was two foxes racing side by side.

All cool. Mibstified & 1DanS, I'm thinking a road runner and a turtle, right ?
  21. (This could be fun) Anybody got marbles with faces on them? Here is one I recently acquired. I was thinking...Dr. Seuss's interpretation of a penquin? What do you think? Anybody else care to show me their face?
