JessicaLewis
I have visited your site a couple of times and I like the site. I am wondering if you have anyone on your staff who is knowledgeable about marbles so the fakes can be weeded out? Edna Hi Edna, Thanks for your message. Our eBay listings are generated automatically based on category and keyword filters (for more information on this, visit our FAQ page:http://www.collectorsweekly.com/answer-desk/how-do-your-ebay-listings-work). I wish we had the manpower or knowledge to screen for repros, but with 700 categories to cover, unfortunately we don't. However, if you can think of any keywords we should be using to help block out fakes, please email them to me at [email protected] Thanks, Jessica

Steph
Very nice, Jessica, thank you. LOL Gary, we can't even keep up with all the scam issues/ids here, but we'll keep trying. That's one of the things links to sites like ours are for. Thanks again for the link. :-)

JessicaLewis
Hi, thanks for all of your comments and feedback. It's really appreciated! Just wanted to let you know that we just published an in-depth interview with marble collector and dealer Alan Basinet. You can check it out here: http://www.collectorsweekly.com/articles/a...r-alan-basinet/. Let me know what you think! We also have an interview with paperweight collector Richard More: http://www.collectorsweekly.com/articles/a...r-richard-more/ If you have any suggestions on how to improve our marbles pages – or out art glass pages in general (http://www.collectorsweekly.com/art-glass/overview) – please let me know. Are there other good marbles sites we've missed that we should link to? Thanks again, Jessica

Steph
Yes, great interviews! Not to mention visual feasts. Ironically the one with Alan goes to show how TERRIBLY DIFFICULT the subject of marbles can be. The marble which is listed as a 1930's comet looks like a modern Vacor clownfish to me. But I know that there are Master collectors and Akro collectors both who have claimed that their favorite company made it. tricky stuff , and oh so fun
ziggyzora
Yes brilliant interview, I love the intro, probably how most collectors start. The questions and answers are really good giving just the right level of info summarized really well. As it is a struggle for specialist marble sites to spot and eradicate the fake/fraud items I don't see it as any more of an issue on a general site. Thanks Jessica, Im still enjoying the Holmegaard and much more
