bubba1
well...is there anyone out there that will dispute that this is a MK "Berry Pink"? it's kind of a loaded question......colors and construction 100% dead on, BUT--measures just under 5/8''. ssssoooooooooo......if Berry Pinks are ONLY shooters (as i understand it), what would we call this little guy? david Chamberlain
I'd chock it up as extremely rare and Beri Pink worthy. Is the white semi-opaque? Usually the 1" examples are either solid opaque or transparent clear. I've always seen them as two types and one size but this definitely throws a curve. I may have seen one previously but I'm not sure. Does the color section have edge ridges; often the larger ones do or creases at the edge of the color almost like the colored section had been pushed into the marble as a later thought? Cool....David
bubba1
david--the base is translucent (like the moss agate patches)--which is a little different--both my big ones are transparent based with quite a bit of the opaque white "filling" and i've seen the opaque based ones. and the colored patch does have the "ridges" just like the big ones--i think i may keep him around for awhile! lol d

david Chamberlain
O.K. you've got a good one there. Being semi-translucent(the matrix) is unusual but much more unusual is the size. I'd keep a watch on this one. The big ones in good shape are worth about $90 last I checked. David

bigjohn691500
what a sweet marble,, nice,,, i dug this one below at the mk dumpsite i always say its probably the closest berry pink i will ever have,13/16",,, bj
david Chamberlain
Bubba's 1st Borderline one I'd say was legit but the 2md one just isn't in the ballpark. Big John's is I'm afraid a foul ball! Sorry about that. I'm pretty sure the legit Berry Pink's have to have that traditional coloring. Steph
I might have seen small opaque ones. I think Road Dog mighta had one or more small ones. I'm trying to remember whether his were clear or solid.

david Chamberlain
Big John, There could very easily be a BP in your future. Marbles happen! I was, of course, playing around with baseball terminology in my remarks rather than considering their specific import. I just can't help myself when I get going. david Chamberlain
I've had a few chips off that same block myself. Let's hope that spreading "smiles" is contagious rather than just infectious. Sorry, I can't help myself when I'm left such an opening!
