I bought one at the Marietta show, although it is smaller than the ones pictured and has a longer socket. I believe there was one exactly like those above in a silent auction during the show. I'm not looking for more, just curious as to the origin. The glass orbs in both sizes have a seam, much like Czech bullet mold marbles.

FWIW, i have a box of clear marbles, bullet mold, that with the box came a notation, WWI,USA, industrial marbles. Not sure if this really helps?

I think that Cambridge offered bullet mold casters in 1903.

I have a set of these. They are the largest "claw foot marble feet" made and are made for library tables as shown here. The "claws" are different from other because these have a face of the mythical character after whom they are named. As soon as I remember what there name is I will post it.

Nice table. One of those would make for a nifty shifter (say that 10X fast). lol
