nutz4lutz Posted April 15, 2012 Author Report Share Posted April 15, 2012 I bought one at the Marietta show, although it is smaller than the ones pictured and has a longer socket. I believe there was one exactly like those above in a silent auction during the show. I'm not looking for more, just curious as to the origin. psia-antique Posted April 16, 2012 Report Share Posted April 16, 2012 I have a set of these. They are the largest "claw foot marble feet" made and are made for library tables as shown here. The "claws" are different from other because these have a face of the mythical character after whom they are named. As soon as I remember what there name is I will post it.
