disco005
There's so much cool stuff out there. If I ever retire, I want to study the fractal.

ann
Ever read Chaos Theory? Anyhoo, my current screen saver is . . . Heck. Too big to upload. I'll try a former one . . . kinda like marbles in the sky . . .

kbobam
Wow! Just looked the name up, and these things are real! Of course not that I doubted you, Ann. But the immediate response is that these are too fantastic, in the traditional sense of the word. ( :
ann
Of course not that I doubted you, Ann. Gotta love the world!
kbobam
And also 'of course', now you realize that since your many loyal fans have been blown-away by how cool this apparently 'second-choice' photo is, they won't be satisfied until you post the current oversized screen-saver shot. Honestly, I feel for you! I mean, until you do so, you're just going to have that little 'knot' somewhere. It'll probably start in your stomach. But then it'll likely move to your head and then start going who knows where. Just gnawing and gnawing and......
ann
Heck. If we lived in the southern hemisphere, last night we couldda seen this, which apparently snuck up on everybody from behind the sun . . .
ann
I found a more striking view - - -
Steph
Only in the Southern Hemisphere? My husband came home a couple of nights ago and said there was something particularly bright above the moon. I guess it could have just been one of the usual planets but he doesn't usually find those remarkable enough to comment on. I didn't get to see it. When I went out, I couldn't even find the moon. Not sure where in town hubby was when he saw it. Guess it wasn't at our house.

kbobam
I started off looking at this post before signing in, so I only saw the text. Was thinking to myself "Non-Marble? Has Ann 'lost it'?" How could I have doubted you? Awesome!

kbobam
Another 'too cool for words' photograph. (But of course I'll say some anyway) It's funny how visually appealing seriously cataclysmic events can be. I have no doubt that many of the people who've witnessed an atomic blast, have, on some level, thought that it was the most magnificent thing they've ever seen. kbobam
Terrific! I looked for an image of one of the more impressive 'situations' to post in 'another thread' too, but didn't find one I liked as much as this! ( :
