jeroen
Hello, Here is a photo of a 1-15/32 inch white opaque lutz I recently added to my collection. It is probably 1/4 inch larger than any other known white opaque lutz. This was told to me by a collector who is more or less a specialsit in opaque lutz marbles. Also two movies: http://youtu.be/KJzDsGtqxPM Enjoy the photo and the movies. Jeroen

Ric
That is a beautiful piece. The craftmanship is excellent - great symmetry.
JVVmarbles
I saw this amazing marble in hand today and when I held to the light it gave a reddish/orange glow. Is that what you call opalescent glass? see pic.
JVVmarbles
And I took a pic next to my largest white opaque lutz (1-3/16" in size).
jeroen
Here is the same photo as JVV posted, but with some more contrast showing the reddish/orange glow better. Jeroen
Steph
Yeah, I'd say that's what's called opalescent. The glow is uncommon for lutzes?
JVVmarbles
Very uncommon! I've never seen it before in a lutz marble.

jeroen
I managed to take better photos of the effect that a backlight has on the opalescent glass. It is very beautiful! Jeroen
