Hello Everyone,

Well I got a group of Vitro Whitie's and this one was in the mix.

Sorry for the black junk on it, didn't even notice when I was shooting it.

But anyway, i thought that this was a Peltier glass type. Rare for Vitro to have Pearlized ribbions?

That one color of Whitie keeps popping up as an example of pearlized glass from Vitro. Don't know about any other examples.

Can't really tell from a photo, but if you're looking at the green, could what you're seeing be aventurine rather than pearlization? Vitro did one of those. Uncommon, though, I think.

I think it's the aventurine green but it has a particularly pearly sheen. I know it's not typically called "pearlized" but but but ....

What makes the pearlized pelt pearly? Is it different from what makes the Vitro pearly?

Just even finer crystal size.

There is yellow under that green. Some examples you see it better. It does look very similar to pelt pearlized. Some people have mistaken them for pelt even though it's a vitro. Semi HTF.

Here it is at the bottom with the other's that have aventurine.

As you can see it's nothing like them.....I've owned the Pelt Patches and this looks the same to me, even the way the glass move's as if by brush.... ???

The aventurine forms on its own. It can crystal out in a light or heavy manner. The ones that look similar to the pelt are neat for sure but still a bit less dense and not as fine IMO.
