BuckEye
Marble is 49/64" and obviously pelt in hand. Has multiple areas of feathering not just what is shown. The glass is a cherry red and my camera on the phone captured it pretty well. We had a great thread in May about these. Someone mentioned they were all HG. I didn't hear them say there was feathering though. Any thoughts? Pelts slags about 3/4 are HTF in general I believe. Craig

Steph
Uncomely? Are you trying to hurt Craig's feeling?
lstmmrbls
Fantastic mib but doesn't look like the feathering associated with the gob fed types IMO.
ann
No, the Cerises don't have the feathering that's so typical of the slightly later slags. Although there's a few that look headed in that direction. In my box (and the couple of others I've seen), some have lots of white swirled in and some have very, very little. Oh shucks. Another chance to post this one ---
mordiskul
Nope just saying that's uncommon action on his marb those aren't found around every block im sure some will agreed it may not be what he was hopeing but a solid score over all. ann
. . . Craig, is your (gorgeous!) slag a bright orangy-red? In the pics, it looks more cherry red, as you describe it.
