I have never liked the Pillsbury Doughboy, in spite of my natural tendency to be a sentimental old fool. Whenever I see him I want to find the nearest rolling-pin and 'flatten' him. So I was pretty impressed with this recent commercial where he gets embarrassed. He and his crescent rolls have shown up at a good-sized family's holiday dinner. The hostess announces that they all have a special present for him. Pants! (In the background you can hear elderly relatives making comments like "It's about time!")
