kbobam Posted May 29, 2015 Report Share Posted May 29, 2015 I've mentioned my fondness for the Oxblood/Aventurine series at various times. Recently looked at some of them a little more closely and realized that I'd never noticed some of their most striking features. Specifically, there's a lot of clear glass in many of them that isn't immediately apparent in normal lighting conditions. To be honest, I always thought the marble shown below had a nice green color pattern on a bricky base. But the green is from another part of the marble, the pattern is clear glass with some nice blood lines, and if you light it just the right way it looks pretty great. When you mentioned seeing different things in Jabos under different lighting my imagination went another way.
