Al Oregon
Top two cage style cat's-eyes come to a point where vanes meet so I would rule out Vitro and go with foreign.
Steph
I'm on the fence about #1. #2 does lean more foreign for me. Would be good to see photos of both on a white background, to show off whatever tint the baseglass might have. The third looks like one of those mystery transitionals which are mostly found in Canada ... which I guess some were hoping were made there. GoofyCat
humm dont ever remember there being any marbles made in Canada. would be cool cause i would want to collect them all. the base glass on the 2 others is clear no tint.. they look tinty in the other pics for the light i quess. one day i figure out how to get a clearer shot. Steph
Just put the cats on a piece of white paper and that would be a big help to me. Cameras will automatically gray the picture but with the white in the background that will be enough cues for my brain to see what it wants to see. I don't remember there ever being solid evidence of marbles made in Canada, but it's intriguing how that transitional type is so often found there. ann
Sure is. They're very hard to find down here. I only have two -- one I bought from Alan back in the day, and one from the wild . . .
