Aventurine and mica?

This one is 23/32" it has a Master like structure with wispy white. The transparent green has larger pieces of dark green aventurine and also loaded with fine mica. Any ideas?

Saying yes to aventurine.  No on mica.

 

And then thinking Master is a good possibility.  It's between Master and Akro.   I'll stall by asking for headlong shots of both seams.

I tried to get pictures of the seams but not much luck. There is a very shallow seam on both poles. They are both about about 3/16" long and straight.

Anyone remember aventurine in moss agate greens?

 

 

Oh yes, FWIW, it's a  "moss agate" with lower case letters even if it's a Master marble.  Master used that term to describe their marbles.  The official style name if it's a Master is "Meteor", but it is still a moss agate, little m, little a. 

And Akro used Moss Agate with the capital letters. 

 

LOL ... if you already knew that, just pat me on the head and tell me good girl.

Are there any machine made with mica?

The special runs from Jabo and maybe later Dave McCullough runs are the only ones I know of.

I've got some Akro moss agates with aventurine and they look sorta like this but not as transparent in the green, but your one visible seam is very master-y looking  . It looks a little filamentous in the mossy base too, so I'm in for Master.

JABO D.T. Special was the first JABO with mica on the outside of the marble.
