DINDO
I think their all Peltiers? 1 and 3 give doubts. 3 does have 2 distinct seams opposite of each other, hard 1 to photograph. Any petecular names? Or just good ol' rainbo.
jten
2&4 pelt 5 might be vitro
Steph
I think #5 could be an Akro. The patch style found at an Alley site which was thought to be Akro cullet. All the rest could be Peltier Rainbos.
Al Oregon
I agree that 1, 2, & 4 are Peltier Rainbos. #3 is tough to tell - may be Vitro Whitie. #5 not Pelt but ? Akro or Vitro.
DINDO
Thanks. The Peltier Rainbo amazes me how vastly different they can appear. Yet the ribbons remain fairly constant. The only other marble species i have come across, in my limited experience . To have the same vastness in appearance is the Master Sunburst. Question. When were all the Peltier Rainbo's made? Steph
The Rainbo era started in the mid-30's and went into the 60's. I'm not sure if it went any later than that.
DINDO
That would be a huge amount of different looking Rainbo. Was the NLR first?
Steph
Yes to both. The NLR's started in the late 1920's.
