DINDO
Greetings. Being socially media inept, i am relieved all is well here. Any thoughts? The green looking one is actually transparent sky blue...thinking 1st 2 are mods. Thanks.
Steph
hehe ... blue mib group ... I get it That deep green look on the left is really skyblue? It has sort of a slag look ???? Does the second have an iridescent finish. I won't swear old, but this Vacor has some similar colors. (plus and iridescent finish) https://www.billes-en-tete.com/detail.php?id=60 No ideas other than WV swirl on #3 and #4.
DINDO
Yes i know. Real bad photi on that 1st. Will get a better pic
Steph
I can't remember if we have discussed background color before. Gray tends to be a good background color to use to get other colors close to true.
DINDO
Ive experimented with a few colours but not grey. Found a greyish background to try on this. The left is a new 1. The right is the one thar looked green before.
Steph
Looks very different! I'd ask @wvrons who made that swirl on the left. It looks vintage, but I can't keep straight the red/white/blues. Champ? Alley? Ravenswood? With the new photos, the aqua one is starting to look like a Japanese transitional. Need to see more of it ...
wvrons
Not sure about the left one ? Is it a swirl or four broken ribbons ?
Vancecrash
Steph, thank you for the background color tip! (Sooooo glad to find the forum back online!)
DINDO
Thank you both very much. Yes,That swirl type one is odd. Broken bits of swirl or ribbon . Perhaps jùst a weird modern. And some more of the blue one. I can get along with the diagnosis of Japan or maybe mod as well.
wvrons
The red white/blue maybe Champion. The blue/white is a slag or transitional. Agree with Japan transitional ?
