Steph
There are some lavender Alleys and Vitros which are considered harder to find. I don't always recognize them. I'm wondering if this might be one of the good ones. But I wouldn't have a clue as to value. In general value for vintage marbles is measured in the cents. To me the one which is standing out the most in this group is this one, but I don't know what it is. I'd guess Vitro. This is also interesting to me, but again, I don't know what it is. This one is a 1940's Vitro Conqueror. Being a larger size adds value. But since the basic Vitro Conqueror is considered a "common", I wouldn't expect a large one to be worth more than $5 (if that) even in mint condition. Spherophile
Consider buying a cheap UV flashlight on Amazon and check the marbles to see if any glow under UV. If so, list them on eBay as an auction—many marbles will sell for a few dollars as UV “glow bugs,” even if they don’t have much value otherwise. Good luck! I hope you make lots of money. Steph
That is a West Virginia swirl. But which company? We have a couple of swirl guys who post here from time to time. Hopefully one will see that.
wvrons
What size is it ? Is it green base or blue base. Pictures are dark . Is the swirl lavender or white ? Pattern looks Alley.
Robwell
7/8" I believe it has two pontils. It is almost vivid green with thick white surface and subsurface swirls
wvrons
I do not think it has any pontils. It is a machine made Alley swirl. I see two chips(damage)that may look some like a pontil. It is machine made and not handmade.
