Steph Posted May 12, 2020 Report Share Posted May 12, 2020 Machine-made patch. I'd guess 1930's or 1940's. The structure makes me think of Akro but with the coloring that is not a slam dunk for me. Steph Posted May 13, 2020 Report Share Posted May 13, 2020 Ron, I thought about Anacortes Vitro because of that blue but let myself be influenced by the age of the other marbles he has been posting. Terry, if it's Anacortes that would make the marble later -- from maybe the late 80's. Which would mean a somewhat newer marble slipped into your largely vintage collection. wvrons Posted May 14, 2020 Report Share Posted May 14, 2020 It happens to 95 out of every 100 collections or large groups. The newer one or newer ones always end up with older marbles. Then it is always, but it was all old marbles and never touched for 50 years. How did one Jabo from 2003 get in with 60 vintage marbles ? It happens every week, every where.
