bonniemarbles
I have guesses, but need to see if I'm right, or close. I think top & bottom are Peltier, & the middle one Christensen, how did I do?
I'llhavethat1
I'm thinking the first is Vitro or MK, 2nd is Alley, last COULD be a Pelt
Steph
Pelt on the last. I also might have guessed Pelt on the first but then I also wouldn't have been surprised if someone said MK or Vitro. I'm not familiar with that pattern in either maker -- as in I don't know what a name for the style would be with either maker -- but it's not the first time I've seen such a marble ID-ed as one or the other by people who know their stuff. wvrons
For me MK Alley MK Sistersville location Alleys. 1932 mesh bag from Sistersville WV. When Rosenthal, Pink and Alley were partners at Sistersville. Rosenthal had the patent on the bag, Pink was the jobber and Alley made the marbles all in Sistersville WV 1932. bonniemarbles
My Lord' how beautiful- this is about my best favorite color combination in marbles, & to see such a swarm of them takes my breath away- & to see how mine resembles yours, like a lost sister, makes my marble totally top of the list special to me. Thanks for the sharing! Bonnie
Steph
Could you backlight this one for us? (Is the base transparent? What shade?)
bonniemarbles
These pics show the marble with my led camera light- the base is full of bubbles & is yellow-green. It doesn't black light but the bands glow a cherry red
Steph
I'm 100% Peltier on that one.
