Marbleized
Hi Everyone, I'm pretty sure this marble is a slag (dark purple with white swirl), but does anyone know the maker? I lightened the second and third photos just to bring out the swirls. I know that it is often impossible to ID these things, but thought I'd ask anyway, in case someone has one that is similar. It starts off with a corkscrew like swirl, then it goes drizzly on the inside opposite end. The size is between .67 and .69 (off round, possibly polished). Thank you! Ric
It's hard to see much detail in the pics.
Marbleized
Yes, I didn’t want to lighten it up so much that it looks like a totally different color.
akroorka
I really doubt that it is polished. Slags were made to last and millions upon millions were made. Many companies made slags, and this is what it is, a slag. Nice one. The only ones that are hard to distinguish one from the other are Akro and MFC. This is a machine made slag made by Akro Agate. imho of course. Marble--On!!!

Marbleized
Thanks Akroorka and Ric! I guess it was worth the effort! 😁 Not sure why I couldn't get the details this morning. I thought with the daylight and lamp it would have been simpler. I just used a lamp this time.
