marblenewbie
This old German swirl has six thin strands of pink, green and white and seems to have a core of thin white strands that go pole to pole. Doesn't look like a solid core, so I'm not sure what to call it. Any ideas?

Chad G.
White Lattacino, so named after the lattice core
I'llhavethat1
The thin white strands in that pattern are referred to as Latticino (Latticinio, Latt). The twisted strands give the appearance of a lattice. A solid core wouldn't have the spaces between the strands. Looks tiny, what's it measure in at?
