Nice turkey Fire.

Chad, I have those things trying to invade all of the time, twice or threes times as destructive as deer in a gardners world.

I have chased them plenty of times, they will eat anything that you do not want them to.

Pretty birds and nice to see-out in a farmers field is much better than in my garden☣️.

Turkey--On!!

I seen on the news (can't remember where ?? ) They were attacking & chasing people all the way home, they wouldn't stop for anything. My best guess is a problem with being "habituated" to human civilization i.e. "people"

There were turkeys up around Green Bay chasing folks, dogs, cats, bikers, bicyclists, and cars last year. They took over a whole neighborhood.
I think that they may have been reintroduced to a better area after chasing and scaring younger ones on the way to school.
I have chased them for years and they would rather run than fly. When they fly, lookout. They crash though tree branches like they were made out of Balsa wood. Tuff birds, these ones.
A big reason for the rise in coyotes imho. I fence my dogs, coyotes love dog meat, my cat seems to persevere, he can climb rather nicely.

Yeah !! exactly what I seen on the news, glad they could resurrect the problem. Although I wouldn't have moved or relocated unless you consider the human stomach a geographical location. From what I hear there's a lot of hungry folks around now and a Turkey dinner would fit the bill nicely & probably a whole lot cheaper than any relocation program ??

The geese here are everywhere in town. Goose crap everywhere. If I had a kid who wanted to play soccer. No way. I’ve been late for work because of them being on the roads. They invade the CSU campus and chase the students. I hate it when they start hissing and chasing you. We had the white ones on the farm. I put an end to that with a leaf rake. Never killed one but the rake was the equalizer.
