Peltier?

Hi Everyone, Wondering if this is a Peltier? If the base were opaque, it would look like a rainbo, but seeing through the translucent blue base that the "ribbons" look like vanes, I'm not so sure. The size is .62". I think I got this off of eBay a while back only because it looked so cool. I don't think it was specifically ID'd, which is probably why I can't remember what it could be. Thanks for your help!

It is a Peltier Rainbo with a transparent base. Sometimes the ribbons dive into the matrix like vanes and sometimes they are on the surface.

I have seen these referred to either correctly or incorrectly as blue pandas.

Incorrect !! The OP is a rainbo, here are a couple pix of a blue panda, Panda is an NLR ; i.e., opaque white ribbons on a dark gunmetal blue base semi translucent glass. The Rainbo base is completely translucent & there are only 2 ribbons present. PIx courtesy of my friend Terry.
