akroorka
I never am too fussy about the pattern on a corkscrew, twists etc. The thing is with corks is that they all usually have a cutoff mark on both ends that will tell the tale, not always but usually. I alway determine a corkscrew by what it was meant to be and they do not always flow like collectors would like them to. Collect corkscrews, look for the pattern/cutoffs and expand your collection. With the exception of slags, most Akros Agates to be sold as gamers were to meant be corkscrews ( yes I know--they made a bunch of others, solids, clearies, swirls, patches--etc, etc.) Never doubt any colors combinations---not any!!! Marble--On!!
