The last 3 pix look good to me, I see intact pontils, and makers marks,  looks like 3 great Joseph coats. Many of the ones' I have look like they were made yesterday and have no damage. Some better lighting would really help request better lit pix from the seller to check for any evidence of polishing. If they're not polished the price is excellent !!   From what I can see they aren't polished just in great shape IMO but better pix may prove differently ?? You do have to side on the better half of caution, a good hand buffing and polishing job will go around the pontils to make it appear untouched. I wish I had them in hand !! A polishing machine will smooth out all those imperfections you see and obliterate the pontils, if anything @ all they were hand buffed,  but even the finest jewelers rouge will still leave little concentric scratches under mag.

To really check if they were polished or not we will have to see both pontils---close up.

Not polished IMO   some great mibs. The unfinished (rough) pontils are in indicative of marbles from the late Victorian era i.e. 1870- 1910 or there about's.  Faceting (not seen here) is an indicator of some of the earlier Handmade production i.e. 1850 - 1870

They appear to be minimally buffed.  "Buffed" is polished by hand with pontils remaining.

Will post more better pictures when i have them here in hand , then we know for sure 🧐👍, if so ....did i overpay then ?

Got them all 3 for 100 included shipping 🙄

All perspective Brother, Id have bought them also, we'll know when ya post the pix, under mag 10-20x you'll be able to see if they've been buffed. Personally IMO I think you did well.

100% not polished or buffed, untouched IMO, I can still see the faint marks left on the surface of the marble by the finishing tool , you got some great marbles Brother, "WOW"  one even has av. "fantastic" definitely a VVVHTF keeper, that or any amount of av in a coat is very rare, great vid man,  even shows visible concentric finishing tool marks in several places on the surface of the marble, exactly what I was looking for & would expect to see on an untouched surface  :party-243:

Here you can still see the faint reflection of the finishing tool marks in the biggest light reflection !! Man what a killer coat !!!  Cha Ching $$$

Top of the top shelf as far as Joseph Coats go, congratulations Brother

Can you post a few shots of these back or underlit to show the passage of light through & between the colored ribbons ??

Perfect Brother, just what I expected to see, and av in one of the others as well ??  You certainly got your moneys $$ worth this time, the single one w/ the heavy av is worth double what you paid for all 3 IMO
