Fire1981
I only have Pelts. Who else made aqua slags? Does anyone have example pics?
William
Besides Peltier, Akro, Christensen Agate and MFC....think that was it. On the road now, but I have a few I could post later. I'm actually not sure about the ID on mine but more than likely Akro because I think the others are tougher too find. 😊
Fire1981
I looked again and have one Akro🔥
William
I might have a few more somewhere, have these 4 for starters 👍
akroorka
Aqua in a slag by itself may trick you into thinking that it is blue. Here is a comparison between the two. The aqua one in this image may be a Pelt, a CAC or in my world an Akro. I am not so sure about MFC though. Did MFC make an aqua marble like this? I cannot remember. Then we can get into the slag vs swirl arena. Yasuda, Vacor and others made what looks like a slag or a swirl. Aqua may have been made in an earlier time frame than machine made’s were. Rare but I would love to see one. Whatever may be, they are hard find for me in good condition, they must have been a popular thing to shoot. Marble—On!! William
Still can't locate any more...thought for sure I had a few more than 4. I'm thinking the 4 I have pictured are 3 Akro's and 1 Pelt. Sure would love too find out that one of these is something other than Akro or Pelt though. I also hit all 4 of them together with UV and the only one too "light up" was the one full of junk 😊
William
From what I have read about slag marbles, the aqua color, with the colors listed in order of rarity, falls right in the middle. Suppose that makes them somewhat difficult to find but ""findable".
