You are right, this one is Chinese. Unfinished pontil and all.
I just dig the colors, just over 5/8”.
 Just imagine what they could make without all of the pressure of making many vs making quality.
We have it good here in the USA and I will collect what I will.
If you have a few Chinese made marbles that you like post them, I am not afraid to say that some are just killers.

I like it Art, no sure but I think they call this a "Parachute type ??  I believe I received some similar from Joep, more digging, @ least it'll give me something to do in this heat

Its a very simple design to make.  The technique is called "raking".  Looks like they blew off annealing, but thats common when they are in a hurry.  Its not really a pontil.  Its a small diameter glass rod attachment.
