The Nickel Guy
Marble people have been very very good to me but this was a great present from one of our members here at the NJ Marble show yesterday. Vacor Frosted Michelangelo 5/8th inch. I could not have afforded such a marble and it was an awesome surprise. It looks better than this and I think this looks great.
The Nickel Guy
Stopped at our nearby Hobby Lobby yesterday and didn't buy em all but most. The truck comes every Tuesday and I'm sure I'm first in line. Well they ordered extra for me. I was pretty excited but upon opening all to sort almost every clear or transparent marble was . . . well, they looked very played with. They will go in a yard sale jar cheap. I did get a lot of my favorites but even though the money wasn't that much to spend I think I just got a fair deal out of it. My opinion is that they cleaned out some bins with shovels, netted them up and threw them all over the warehouse floor. The two tags I had were 50 ct 06 FEB 2025 and 25 ct 12 MAR 2025 and both had a copper seal at the base of the nets. I never saw that before. All my previous bags had silver crimped seals. Not all that excited. Just saying, if anyone else is finding these production / distribution bags and finding the same damage thing, please drop us a line. I might go back next week but only if I see a shooter I need in a bag and I will look it over through the net. I got more SEA TURTLE shooters yesterday than you 'll see in that movie Nemo.

A buy and grab never does any one any good. You can blame the seller all that you want to--I would blame "me" "Myself and I" for a bad purchase in your shoes. I will always blame myself for a bad purchase--always---- Marble On!!

I had this one in with the Orangutans but after a UV light check it is clearly different. This one is more reddish orange and thought maybe it was a mummy. There is a slight trace of green running along a swirl too. Am I right? very nice.some of my favorites are variations of this type.what would yall call these...

The Nickel Guy
I went and bought a pound of Moon Marble Mega Marble "Firefly" 5/8th marbles. There were 91 wet mint marbles in the bag. I can't believe it. Most of my translucent Vacors have been somewhat rough in the net bags but this was refreshing. Not a pin prick in the whole shipment. Yes, I bought some other stuff too. I was expecting something more bright, more yellowish from the pictures but they came looking a bit darker. I think these are something brand new or a reissue of an older type to reintroduce in the Mega Marble line. Very happy with these and the best thing is, I had this shooter that I had been trying to identify maybe a month ago. Turns out, it completes a handpicked set of 24 of the best and a dandy 1 inch shooter for a bag of "Fireflys" They do look a bit lighter than these images and the shoter has the same swirls and colors except it appears darker than the players because it is thicker and the lighting makes it look much darker.
