Fire1981
OK ! This one was really hard to get good pics of. I’m think Pelt because of the Feathering. But…they don’t have the sharpest of a typical Pelt has. It doesn’t glow. Whatta you guys think🔥 RAR
Ric
White Pelt slags a tough ID but this one looks like at least a contender to me.
mibby wonka
Without a glow and with that much swirling I would lean akro,is it larger? It could go either way
Fire1981
No. It’s a true 9/16🔥 RAR
Chad G.
Peltier did make white slags in a transparent clear base, they did not glow. I have pictures of entire boxes of a mix of pelt feather slgs and those that don't exhibit the feathering mixed in Sami's Pelt book. So some of the Pelt slags are impossible to tell from others because they lack the feathering. the marbles pictured in Sami's book are believed to be original to the box, I would post pix from the book but I consider that a big no-no. Doesn't say on the 100 count, the only ones w/ sizes posted are the smaller boxes w/ varying sizes : i.e. 9/16ths - 3/4 and so forth. Boy there are a lot of different count boxes w/ a row of white slags, you'd think they'd be more common, of course these are collectors boxes I guess !! Jeff54
Ah oh, as if it is not bad enough that Peltier made hand gathered slags, no different than MFC, Akro and CAC. There goes the good ol' 'Peltier always have a feathered pattern' and the other slags that are not hand gathered are Akro deal. At least one thing is for sure: Whenever Artificial intelligence, AI takes over the universe, there's not a chance in h. ,adding the West Virginian swirls and others, it can create a complete and accurate marble identification guide. What will happen if asked to do it and cannot finish? Go into a loop and crash? Will marble collectors save mankind from the Cyborg?! 😆
Ric
It says No. 0 on the 100 ct. box lid so 5/8" for those, I guess.
