Big Limestone Poop Marble

Fire1981

Fire, if this example has a (slight) rise to the center equator, it had something to do with water. I have found out that some examples like this with the equator rise was the ball in an real early sump pump, supposedly, however i could be wrong. Chuck G---

Could be a mill ball, a check valve ball, or lots of things. The pump balls would set on a rubber or leather seat and let water flow one direction as it pushes the ball off the seat, but not the other direction, which pushes the ball tight to the seat and seals it.
