A good indicator (to me) that is a Jabo is the third photo in your line up has that hole. I have some similar in purple swirl that This group has helped me identify as Jabo

Ah! I see it! It is clear glass but looks like it folds deeper into the marble(like a hole). Thanks! That is great! ...Marking this down...

We were just talking about this the other day . . .

Aha! Got it! Yes- it does have those little 'scuffs'. Marking this down... Thank you very much!

I agree with JABO.

The touch marks are from rough handling and maybe softer glass, not sure. DAS has them too. They ding and zing and crash down ramps and baffles into the sides and each other, then drop into buckets, get stirred around and then poured from buckets into barrels, stirred around, then scooped out and poured into boxes. It's amazing any are mint when you think about it.

I guess that other companies like Vacor etc. have a different kind of retrieval process. I would also venture a guess that 'wet mint marbles' are uncommon during that retrieval process no matter what the manufacturing company. So would you consider hand made marbles to be the most pristine marbles as far as lack of marks, scuffs etc.?
