Sorry, guys. I gotta pump the brakes. Apparently I have 3 very similar. 🤣 I’ll do the one we have seen first, then the other two. Original and one of the other two are .61. Biggest is .67. Also, the original and XL look more related to each other.

here’s the OG

nextOG and Big Brother. IMG_2726.thumb.jpeg.1bc61f7482b47d7d82dcdebad9f2e0b1.jpegIMG_2716.thumb.jpeg.f74b6de763a23f365afd01f9d9f275f7.jpegIMG_2728.thumb.jpeg.39751f5236f4997e872aaa8182c863ff.jpeg

Finally, the “odd man out”. Something different all together? Wish I could get some better light on it  IMG_2735.thumb.jpeg.805c9c4f50bb95ab958c3abd6623d65f.jpeg

actually, maybe not so finally. This big boy (.96) is orange white blue, and purple too. Someone ID’ed it awhile back as a king or master something or other. At any rate, I don’t think it’s related  but idk   IMG_2736.thumb.jpeg.04161a5c9b565628b403a05299717ed7.jpegIMG_2738.thumb.jpeg.a670409d6d6c6f758a0f7ec95864fc51.jpeg

For me the left in that first photo looked totally Rainbo.  Not MCS.

The marble I was questioning was the 2nd marble in the line-up.  For some reason I was seeing it as possibly a West Virginia swirl.

Not that this color changes much  I just really like it, especially trying to coax it out  IMG_2768.thumb.jpeg.6cfa0d6d4a1ef6a9fc5ebb396cf91ddf.jpegIMG_2767.thumb.jpeg.0c16b5ca103d0ada70c1181811238072.jpeg

Yes, this is a Marble King, but the photos and descriptions are not coming out right. It looks like you have a  Big boy at .96" in one place and a standard 5/8" in another.

The .96 is a Tiger variety with a white base. The smaller appears similar as orange but a transparent blue base. . Orange on a blue base is odd as usually it's red not orange. This is a newer when red is called a transparent Wasp. If Orange it's likely to be considered a transparent Tiger, (I guess). A big Tiger on a white base is very hard to find. I mean, in standard 5/8" there are probably 4 times as many, or more, red/black (purple) Wasps versus the amount of Tigers. In perspective, a big boy size in a Wasp is a bit hard to get but comparably a big Tiger is in the rare arena. In fact, it's easier to get a big Bengal Tiger (Almost the same except Bengal gets yellow on the side of the orange usually on top of the white area.)

So, the Tiger is black (purple) and orange with a white base. A Bengal Tiger is near the same but gets yellow on the edge too. Much harder to find a big Tiger.

Here's a Big Bengal Tiger.

Wow!  Thanks Jeff!  Who knew I had some cool/rare pieces?I started like a month and a half ago. Not even sure where I got these guys. I think these may have been in an antique store where the owners seemed a happy to get rid of a jar of marbles. Most was junk.  And yes. Seems like I have two marble king and two pelts. Sounds like both of the MK‘s are tough, but the big boy is incomparably tougher. That’s crazy! I’m gonna look around and see if I can determine where I got it. Thanks again, everybody, for your help.

Yes, tough to find a big Tiger, provided this is the one at .96 you are talking about.  Unfortunately, it's chiped so much.
