Experts need to weigh in. How many veins?- even small ones count. Peltier did make black bananas ("rotten Bananas"); but they usually have one vein. This might be foreign; but it is very beautiful! I've never seen those brown stripes before in a cat's eye. For that alone it is a valued keeper imho.

Only one “leaf “in the center if that’s what you’re talking about. It does seem to have a bazillion stripes from top to bottom that are completely transparent. You have to look closely to see them.

With those observations, my vote is Pelt "rotten" banana. Others need to add 2 cents though...

Bogard is the most famous maker of "black" veined cats imho.

The ones that I have are most commonly found in the "Mountaineer Shooters" blister pack.

The one that I have are all four viened.

That being said, they do not all come out perfect but if yours has less that four vanes I would suggest an asian made marble.

Marble--On!!

Just the one vane. As I said, in the beginning, though, it does appear to be very very old, or very very used. Another interesting thing I find are the striation from top to bottom. I haven’t seen that on any other marbles that I’ve had. They’re slightly raised, you can kill them, you just can’t see them that well in photos
