VaMarbles
Recently purchased some china marbles and was hoping for a bit of insight here. Seems like the more interesting design (house, person) the more valuable? Any thoughts here? Anything top shelf? Left to R 15/16 23/32 21/32 (3 and 4) thanks for looking
akroorka
The black and white one I have not seen before--it reminds me of a "carpet ball". Oops, I take that back, there is one in "Everett Grist's Big Book of Marbles" He called them "Painted Chinas". The left and the right hand ones are called "Lined Chinas" or---"Painted Chinas" as is the flowery looking one. These were all hand painted--probably from Germany. Yes, the more fancy the more valuable—rarity is always a thing though—the black and white seems rare to me. You need some more opinions for sure. @bumblebee may have some insight here. Marble--On!!
