VaMarbles
Fairly sure both are Akro’s. Anything unique here?
akroorka
I do not see Akro here--maybe a Vacor "twister" that went wild. I appreciate all of your opinions here and hope to see some more. Marble-On!!
Ric
I'm pretty sure those are JABO Classics - I think they have a name but it's not coming to me at the moment. I seem to recall boxed sets that somebody (Walt McGee?) put together with those. Give me a while . . .maybe the senior moment will pass. lol
Ric
Okay . . . it's Tie Dyes (1999) - these just don't have as much yellow as most.
disco005
I'll throw a monkey wrench in here . . . I can see why you are thinking Akro, VaMarbles, especially in the left marble in the first and third photos, and the right marble in the third photo. I can see the wrap around at the seams, I don't know a better or more technical term than that. I have two photos of Akros that I'd like to share here that makes me think yours are Akro. The first one, is a very lazy cork that share the colors of yours and shows how the wide flat cork looks at the seams. The second one is also a very wide cork that shows the pattern of what I'm trying to describe as the wrap around at the seam of a wide lazy cork, the two photos on the right. -Jess
Ric
And here are some Tie Dyes for comparison . . . Sorry for all the reflections - I hurried.
disco005
Hmmm, I can see arguments for both, but I see an organization to the patterns of the glass in the OP marbles that I just don't see in Jabo, but in all fairness, I do not know Jabo.
disco005
In the second OP photo, I can see a cork outline in the solid Orange here:

I have seen a few JABO corkscrews fool well-seasoned Akro collectors. Ron had one that was unbelievable! Just don't be too surprised if you see JABOs with a lazy or better corkscrew pattern.
