Ive_lost_my_marbles
my father gave these to me before he passed away last year. Yesterday I got them out of his things. They were in a bag and covered in dirt so I cleaned them off and now I am in love. Obsessed some would say. I think they are gorgeous. What do you think?
Chad G. Posted yesterday at 12:35 AM Report Share Posted yesterday at 12:35 AM "Welcome to Marble Connection" Yes, you have some real beauties there, cross your fingers for no damage and you have some very nice ones indeed. But the sentimental value always overrides the condition, I like your Fathers taste, like I said some real beauties 2

Most of them are from what I can tell (I know nothing except the 12 hour crash course I gave myself lol) to be in the mint category. There are some of every grade I think. Yes, sentimentally they are priceless. These came from 3 generations of guys in my family who kept their favorites to pass down to the next. I may not be a guy but it's my turn. I guess I should look for ones to add to them. 🤔

There are probably more "not guys" collecting marbles today than guys. I would venture to say that most of yours are close to or over 100 years old. You have a great collection there already. I would frame this bunch in memory of folks past. Marble--On!!
