stephenb
If you have any specific questions about Vacor De Mexico Atmosphere marbles that you would like answered, please post them here. I will be interviewing Vacor co-owner Alejandro Medina-Vazquez soon and can relay questions concerning this topic for an upcoming video. Thank you! 1
VaMarbles
That’s awesome Stephen. Unfortunately we dont have one yet. Maybe ask how many were produced per year? That might give me some better insight in finding one in the wild.
Tommy
I do did they produce the glass candys and if so was it in great numbers and were they sold in the U.S. Been wondering about that thanks 1

I would love to see some of the older employees (the grunts) giving some answers here. The front office is not always in flux with what the workers at the plant know and what really happened in the factory itself. Experience calls me in here—"just sayin". Yep a hard thing - to do, cross over a Manager or Owner that owns or manages but does not really know what is up down in the trenches. You asked, I gave--this is your thing. I wish you great luck my marble collecting friend. Be Brave @stephenb. Just do not get locked up in a Mexican Prison--oof-dah--very bad juju. Stay home and watch out for predators. Marble—On!! stephenb
Akroorka try as I may, for the past few years I have not been able to connect with former employees. Sorry
tkt
Apologies if this is off topic but I have been very curious about speculation that vacor may have been a source of the Asian imperials that the imperial toy company of l.a. was selling in the 1970s. A question on that subject would be greatly appreciated if possible.thanks for your work and videos.here are a couple examples of the ones i’m so curious about…

stephenb
Who is speculating that Vacor made Imperials? They may have been shipped to Mexico, re packaged and then distributed to the states but I assure you Vacor didn’t make them. The glass is too cheap to have been made by Vacor.

If you read the packaging with Imperials on E-bay, you will find some that mention Mexico among many--many other countries. This is a valid question imho. Al Oregon
The owners / former owners would probably know their competitors over the years and may know which competitors made the "marbles made in Mexico" that were purchased by Imperial and others. 1

tkt
not really trying to keep this going but I just remembered (senior moment I guess) one of the stories from the previous interviews with the super old school vacor owners that I find interesting/intriguing is their visit to Asia i think Japan marble makers which would have brought advice or influence from vacor to asian manufacturers.sorry if I am misremembering that but it kind of fits in with all this I think.I appreciate y’all’s patience with my unschooled questions either way.
