Price for lot?

Recommended Posts

Hi guys! Today while I was picking up a marketplace buy I stumbled across a nice lot of mostly vintage marbles. I spent about 2 hours sorting through them and chatting with the seller. The main thing that popped out at me is what I believe to be a red and yellow akro cork. I’m a beginner with about 20 mibs to my name and this would be a real fun buy for me. However I also know (aka am pretty sure) that there aren’t any big gets in here. What do you think would be a fair price for this? I was thinking 60 but I’ve since downgraded my estimate to 45/50. Seller also had a couple of plastic sports mibs I was curious about resale value for. I would not buy those with the lot, asking for seller. Also I’d love ids of any of the ones I picked out.

I call this a Tossed Salad. There are quite a few examples in this group for learning general ID’s. Just pick out your favorites and post pics. As for price? Uuuuuugh. Maybe $25ish.  Don’t pass on the sport marbles unless he wants a dollar for each one. That’s all I got with this group. I hope someone else chimes in here on the price for this group🔥

If it were me:  I would pass on this cats-and-dogs mixture.  Take that money to a marble show and buy ONE marble well-priced at that amount.

In addition to the first Akro, I see some appealing slags and swirls. If you like the condition after checking them I'd say $35 for everything (except the three plastic sports marbles which I know nothing about).
