Fire1981
I couldn’t find this color combo in Sami’s book. That doesn’t surprise me since this came out of one of the pits. I just thought I’d post it since the CC is so funky. If anyone thinks there’s actually a ID name attached to it I’d like to hear what you think it might be🔥 RAR

Fire1981
No. Just 2 that I know of. MigBar’s and one other. I can’t remember who got the second one. Here’s the story on that one. They paid for one scoop with a back hoe. I can’t remember how much they paid or if the posted pics or were even on the Boards. My marble Lotto Dream: Buy the Mansion and methodically dig and dig and dig🔥 RAR

Fire1981
It's my "understanding" it's where the cutter pulls the glass and forms a "V" between the colors or ribbons. I believe that is what causes the "V" trait found on Vitros and Pelts🔥 RAR

Here is one of many old threads talking about “V”, “U” or “Butt-Crack” marbles. https://marbleconnection.com/topic/20644-peltier-cazy-h-seam-peltier/#comment-180879 To me, I’m seeing signs of “chevron” or “rams head” reverse twisting in your super sample (but not in the red slag). Anyway, it is speculation. I wasn’t there watching it get made that day. 😉 Thank you for your explanation! -John
Fire1981
Thanks for posting that link John. That breaks it down better than I did. When it comes to marble traits. The “V” and the “Twist” are easily 2 of my favorite traits🔥 RAR
