CAC Striped Opaque (Revisited)

I posted this marble once before because it was offered to me and I was curious. Now that I have it, the color is slightly brighter than previously shown, although very very close. You almost can’t see the difference in photos, I’m now noticing.

The consensus before was that this was a CAC striped Opaque. The size is .65

I’m just wondering if the consensus with the new photos has changed anyone’s opinion. The photo with the white bg is from the original post, and the brown bg photos are new.

Just trying to guage this orange and whether it’s CAC color, because it really really pops.

Orange is a hard color to determine in an online image.

This is where images and cutlines come into play.

Notice the white and -get away from the orange here.

CAC, no doubt, used some cullet--but most of the glass that they made in their short existance was made in house.

We all tend to look at the colors--this is just the way of us/we collectors .

This is just a nice deep white--very nice to look at.

It does Pop for sure--but why does it Pop?--The white imho.

The cutlines and the overall appearance of the marble make me say CAC "All Day Long".

I would call it a swirl--a very nice swirl.

I appreciate all opinions and hope to see some more.

Nice marble regardless--this one is no Alley.

Marble--On!!

I see what you mean about the white. It does make it pop. Very cool.

It blows my mind that CAC was able to create the colors that they did. And now we all get to enjoy them.

Thank you! Appreciate your knowledge and time!

Art, are you sure Christensen Agate used cullet?  From everything I have read and heard, they only used batch glass.  Also, IMHO, this is a CAC Striped Opaque.

The ribbons don’t align with the seam and the orange is sloppy. I see  a little narrow winding Road and a wonky Tunnel. Here I go. FWIW….I think it’s a slag🔥

RAR

Not seeing slag, slags have a transparent base, OP base is opaque, agree W William seeing Striped Opaque also, just a little messed up, agree also the swirling is a little weird on the other end.
