“AllAboutMarbles” and "TheMarbleConnection" are not in any competition. 
Especially when you name a person.
We are like grandparents from a different family line—just trying our best to make the marble world an easier place to visit.
I have deep respect for AAM and would not give any response to any thoughts from them. We are both very old and we get along quite well.
Just a choice on membership—no reason.

I totally get it, I purely mentioned it as I do put a LOT of stock in Cheese's opinions, he has given me a lot of guidance as a new collector (by far the most help and guidance if I were to be honest.), but he had mentioned that he was not certain on this ID.

I only added the details that I have asked on the other site to this topic as I realised some people would have seen my post there, but it had been a fair while ago and did not want them to question their own recall. That was all. I did not mean for it to come across like I question the help I receive on either site...

No problem Alta, over at AAM we mention and link to threads over here at MC all the time. Years ago there were problem people (mainly one) that caused a great division but that's long gone and over now. AAM is a tool in the bag, same as MC and we should all feel at home at either and both simultaneously. Both are about helping the hobby along.
