Japanese vs Conqueror

Hello! I know I read a thread on this site  that showed a marble like this one, stating it is not a Vitro Comqueror, but Japanese.

I have tried but can’t find it. It makes sense to me because of the tinted base glass and the salmon colored patch (rather than Vitro red or orange)…and also the patch is a bit thicker, not just veneered — almost like a cat’s eye but at the surface.

I am trying to expand my collection of Vintage Japanese marbles and there are wonderful resources on this site. I’d love to know who the maker would be, if it is Japanese. I am beginning to recognize Yasuda and have learned tonight that my pincers are likely by Seike. Any further resources would be most welcome.

Common Vitro  Conqueror 🔥

Thanks so much for responding! I found the post, it was actually on Facebook. I’m going to reach out to the author.

The tinted base glass seems like a key difference from Vitro to me. Are you a collector of Japanese marbles or more responding based on the structure, which is obviously the same as a conqueror? Or, have you seen evidence of conquerors with tinted base glass and/or thick (not veneered) salmon colored patches?

Again, appreciate your taking the time to respond, very much! I just don’t want to dismiss my own question without clarifying the basis of your response if that makes sense.
