akroorka
Alley Pennsboro, vs Alley St.Mary's , vs Ravenswood,--it could only take an expert. (these will alway be up for grabs as far as an ID is concerned) Call them what you like-- I just like them. I reverted to the Alley Agate Company books---the results are up for grabs there imho. Nice post--no results here as far as I am concerned. Just call it a Ravenswood--because it is a cooler name than an Alley Agate whatever imho. Marble--On!! 1
cheese
Well when intensely studying buckets and buckets of marbles from the factory sites and original packaging for over a decade, it's possible to get a little better handle on the types. I can match these to marbles from St. Marys in many different packages. The pattern is not Ravenswood pattern.Β There were removed from an Alley package of marbles from the St. Marys factory. Despite what some people think, the maker and even factory location can in fact be determined for many marbles.
