The "transition" from fully hand made to fully machine made marbles. Early US and Japanese (and others countries?) companies made them in the early 1900's. They don't have to have a tail. My question for you @akroorka is are the Asian transitionals Slags? The 2 Yasuda's I have resemble Akro corkscrews more than typical slags. Two colors yes, but nice clean corkscrew patterns. For my own learning, as I understand it, slags are defined by more than just how the marble looks- it is also how they are made. Correct?
