Weldon never played with this marble. He had it as a little boy and kept it in perfect condition. He had another one like it that has chunks of glass missing from his play.

Posting this to help others. I had a few of these with my Vitro Agate. Randy had them with Master sunbursts. Ron Shepherd tells me they are Akro Agate beachballs.

Yes, they are whities

Because the header doesn't fit right, I believe that is part of the warehouse find that Roger and Claudia Hardy bought in the 1990's in Pennsboro. They are Champion marbles, at least the ones Weldon and I bought are. They bought a load of those and packaged them with the headers and bags they bought in the same place. We bought some of every kind of Champion marble they had. Some are quite pretty.
