I THOUGHT an onyx was colored transparent glass with a white cork. Also if there is yellow in that base color, that brown color could be incompatibility with a glass that has copper in it like greens and some blues. It causes discoloration, not a blend and not a separate color.
Bo Stiff collected corkscrews with the same colors, but different base glass and corking ribbon. I didn't say that very well. I'll try another way. He liked opposites so he collected blue base glass with a green corking ribbon and green base glass with a blue corking ribbon. He had a lot of opposites.
Some of those corks do have special names. if they light up with a blacklight, the red ones can be called cherry ades or tomato ades, the yellow ones lemonades, and the green ones limeades. if they don't light up, they are just corkscrews. I almost left out the orange ones are orange ades. Sometimes the patches light up with a black light and they have the ade name too.
Ann, Berry Pinks are larger marbles - one inch. I have only seen 3 varieties. (1) opaque white base, (2) pale blue opaque base (I've only seen one and I've been looking for a long time and (3) a clear base. I will post larger photos of the 1 and 3 for you.
