  1. Salazar dove I think of it as the holy spirit made visible.
  2. This is the first Salazar I bought. I think I figured out how to do the new format.
  3. I can't post pics here. I haven't posted since the format changed. I used to use a photo host and now I don't know how to do that.
  4. I have a lot of David Salazar.
  5. Glad you found it. I don't think I've ever seen that book. I don't collect the antique marbles.
  6. I bought from him too, a long time ago. I haven't bought any marbles on ebay in a very long time. Sorry to hear this. Wonder why we didn't know sooner. It's been almost a year.
  7. I often competed with Leo for marbles on ebay years ago. I didn't meet him until Linda Simmons and I attended the marble show in Seattle last year. I bought a Ro Purser marble from Leo at that show and I will always have fond memories of him associated with that marble. Prayers for his family. He spoke to me about having a son who was following in his footsteps. Special thoughts going out for that son. Leo will be missed by many in the marble world.
  8. I've never smelled or tasted a marble. As my mother would have said "you don't know where that's been". I pick my marbles up at my post office box so have never worried about them being taken from my porch. I haven't bought one on ebay in eons so that doesn't bother me either. It does bother me to pick up marbles from my box and wait until I get home to open them. I usually don't make it farther than back to my car. I sit there opening the package. My worst marble problem is looking for a particular marble that I know is in my house somewhere and taking days to find it.
  9. The title of this brought a giggle to me. My mom was an RN (registered nurse). She was always talking to us about our "innards". Thanks for the laugh.
  10. I don't recognize the marble, but I'll think about the initials. It could be 1980 or 2008. the initials are usually on top of the date. How large is the marble?
  11. That blackeyed pea is a JABO from the superman run. the other two are probably Vacor.
  12. Hi! I'm Edna. Weldon and I spent a lot of time with Bo in Phoenix and also in Texas and West Virginia. He died about 6 months before Bo. I guess you know what happened to Bo's collection.
  13. What got removed? I can't imagine. What was it about?
  14. I understand how you felt kbobam about seeing the same post. When my Weldon died, it seemed to be ages to me that the first post about someone lost from the marble world was right there on top. I got tired of being reminded of his death and I did a post that removed it from the top. Weldon died in July 2010 and that post was still on top Jan 2, 2011.
  15. I didn't see it so I'm all in the dark. Sorry. Whatever it was, you are forgiven.
  16. I haven't seen them since Weldon died and I quit going to the Tulsa Marble show. My prayers for Mary and the rest of the family. RIP Stan.
  17. I've had so many computer problems in the last two weeks that I thought this change was something else wrong with my computer.
  18. Fred Wilganowski did not make peewees. It's not his style either. For a while I collected guineas from every artist I knew who made them. Andy Davis just gave me two of his. Those marbles don't look like any I have.
