  2. Homer Daugherty, Texas Marble Collectors Inc. An Eddie Seese marble is posted for him.
  3. Marbles for Alan Bassinett some of them were purchased from Alan.
  4. A MARBLE FOR WELDON EATON this is a Kris Parke. Brett Young, Kris Parke, and Tom Rink helped him pick out this marble.
  5. I would argue that JABO are WV swirls. While the factory is located in Ohio, the main man and his crew were West Virginians who learned their craft in WV.
  6. Sir Cray, my grandson wants my marbles. He has my permission to do whatever he wants to with the marbles.
  7. You said "Please do not start the personal attacks". I think that is responding. We have known for years what you think. And what's with the name calling? Your behavior is rude. Now is that stinky enough?
  8. The marbles do not have seams. That should be a distinguishing factor. They are swirls, not corks, or NLR's or rainbows. There are occasionally flames, but no seams. There are only certain colors available to purchase and just a limited amount of color combinations. Just admit that no matter what the makers of the new marbles do, You will post negatively about them. Yes, you asked us not to respond to your post, but that never stops you from complaining about the marbles. New people collect them, mostly because us olde fartes have the vintage squirelled away. There is a market for the new ones and there are people who can afford them and can't afford what you collect, We will continue to make them. It's fun, enjoyable, some of us makers also collect them. Instead of your posting the same things any time the new marbles are posted, get a life. Let the people who like them have their fun collecting and the people who get together to make them have their good times being together, recreating an old art form. Too bad no one has invented a way to make colors not available years ago. Then there are only so many colors visible to the human eye. The old makers used every color available to them and so do we.
  9. I'm curious about fire opals. Aren't they just game marbles?
  10. Maybe we should all try lighting up our blue on blues.
  11. Linda Moore Simmons told me her Dad made the horseshow cats in parkersburg and we all know they made them in Anacortes. I just learned about Parkersburg last year.
  12. From my experience making runs of marbles at JABO, Sammy's Mountain Marbles, and D.A.S. I would call them same run marbles. They are absolutely gorgeous!
  13. thanks for the pictures. You three are looking good! See you in September.
  14. Yes, the width and the opaqueness of the white. I can post a lot of pics, but I can't match up that glass.
  15. I can't say it is or it is not a Champion Agate. I can say that I have a lot of Champion and I don't have one that looks like your marble. Your marble is a pretty one.
  16. I think these are a mixture, but mostly Akro and some MFC. I've never known how to tell them apart. I do have box of red slags that I am certain are all Akro, but no pics of it.
