  1. I have 5 left, anyone else?
  2. Let me know if anyone wants some of these porcelfrits. $50.00 each
  3. This pair of 3/4 mint true Fluorescent popeyes are tough ones to find, I have only run across 2 since 1992, these came out of an Ohio find of over 40 popeyes all 3/4, I bought 33 of them, various colors and some blends.
  4. thanks for deflating my valuation bob lol, just kidding, Bob is right, the original finder of these porcelfrits was getting on average of 50-40 dollars a piece for the 10 he sold individually on ebay. Prior to these sales on ebay you could only find one in Bob's auctions every now and again. I really don't think Alan sold any, they have been missing for a long time. Years ago they were bringing 80-120 each.
  5. the white are on moonies, I'm sure the lemonade and limeade ones are fluorescent, I don't have a black light, some say the print is oxblood. They only came in these 3 colors with moonie being the less common of the bunch. They are extremely hard to find. There was one antique seller on ebay who ran across 22 of them in PA at an antique sale, he sold a few on ebay and I grabbed the left overs.
  6. 3 smaller examples came from Morphy's and the big one just some random ebay seller a few years ago. look how small the little guys are, 7/8 and 15/16, mint with pontils, one even has 2 shades of color paint on it.
  7. I got my mica's from this auction and they were awesome
  8. Here is something you wont see everyday, a 12 pack of Akro Porcelfrits. I recently added these babies to my collection.
  9. clyde is down at the pawn shop right now selling his baseball card and comic books so he can snag this one, looks great.
  10. picked these up from europe, wonder what the red marbles are? I never seen the square box one either, should be interesting.
  11. this guy has some interesting marble games from the 30's and some nice chinese checkers boards. I don't know him but thought I would give a heads up. http://www.ebay.com/sch/lasvegasauctionsandsales/m.html?item=321064248089&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2562
  12. Yeah I miss them as well, but there is still good stuff out there. Alan died way too young. A vegan most of his life and still got cancer, makes you wonder. I lost several people this past year. My best friend of 20 years, we talked daily, we were close, he died of an overdose of pain medication leaving behind a 1 year old son. (47 years old) Another was a friend from high school, we were actually roomates during college, he died of an overdose of pain medication, he broke his back a year ago and was hooked on pills. (45 years old) Another buddy of mine died, probably another overdose, we worked together for years, got pretty close, went scuba diving together once. (42 years old) My younger brother spent 60 days in the ICU, his pancreas almost exploded, I will spare you the gory details, but after some surgeries and with Gods help he survived, non of the doctors thought he would live, he beat all odds, worst case they have ever seen. He just about drank himself to death. (36 years old)
  13. Jeroen, that multi color marble is unbelievable. It's like they crunched up a bunch of colored glass and rolled the base glass in it, perhaps the inspiration for Christensen guinea's
  14. 2 very small mint sulphides I got from the last Morphy's auction. A little paint on the smallest one. The smallest marble is a standing lamb with well-centered figure. The larger marble is a standing pig figure that is centered slightly high in marble. Condition (9.2 - 9.5). Size 7/8" to 15/16" Dia.
  15. I love the marble I got from last weeks cyberauction and it was equally exciting to see that old familiar white box arrive in the mailbox again. Thanks for bringing these auctions back Bob.
