That is the small format, he also made a larger format at ~6”. he made 12 custom lamps for his employees in 1935.

Back on the music thread… I had a meeting with a client last week, they want me to add photos to my technical report. I HATE putting pictures in my report. First time in 20 years I put marbles in a case for sale. I had a booth with my previous wife, we had a high-security gun display case where we put the good stuff. Someone lifted a bunch of higher-end AKROs, the store owner shrugged it off. We packed up that same day we found the loss. Fast forward 15 years and we (my current and last wife) had a locked case in a local store, had an expensive Case knife stolen. Again, pulled and left. this is my 3rd attempt selling in a local store. While we were stocking I noticed 2 knives were gone. Habit kicked in and I was pissed. Turned out the owner had sold them, listed them as being for another seller.🤯 we have talked about opening our own store, even selling from the house. But I don’t want strangers wandering around our “museum”, too many expensive smalls out in the open.

haha… I have a lot of memories that are not printable. almost got married in both Taiwan, and Olongapo. Fortunately, neither happened. We are what/where we are now because of our past… wouldn’t trade my life for $100 million.

I remember being in a sushi restaurant in Fukuoka, the locals were buying us drinks for being “poor US sailors”. We were singing rock-n-roll songs along with the jukebox, woke up with on hell of a headache.

I have a patch somewhere for the USS Chicago being turned into razor blades in 1980, I was on the decomm crew. The captain was pissed and banned them from being worn.
