  1. That's a nice one - orange is a little less common, I think.
  2. Nice marbles, Joe. I really like the ones with that buttery base glass.
  3. Sorry for the delay - some more matte ones to consider. It's interesting that I haven't seen similar on other types of Vitros . . .
  4. Here are a few variations on the theme . . .
  5. That's a borderline rude thing to say, since you are talking to people who are trying to help you. Why would someone not want your marble to be guinea? If you don't want honest responses, I recommend you not ask for ID help.
  6. I know that both blue and green AV was used and, if I recall properly, some had four colors.
  7. Nice one, Dave. I have a couple of similar ones somewhere but they are not easy to find.
  8. The seams are usually obvious too . . . Guinea photos from @MARBLEMISER
  9. They are modern marbles made by hand with a torch.
  10. Not a PPP. I think Akro or maybe Master.
  11. If there are hints of blue in it I would say Ravenswood. Nice marble.

    5/8 Stumped

If it appears a little more toward salmon colored in hand I would say Ravenswood.

    4 Heaton?

The top ones look the most Heaton to me. Lower left might be Ravenswood and the lower right might be Alley, but I think some of these could go a few directions.

    Alley?

They look Alley to me, and I would try 0000 (super fine) steel wool on the rust.
  15. This could be related to the intensity (amount) of light being emitted from the different sources and not necessarily the wavelength.

    3/4 WVS

Alley is my take on it.
  17. That is really interesting. Do you know if it was just decorative or if it had a particular use?
